Intimate Epics

Jordan's stage directing work is rooted in a belief that the most narratively sweeping stories should feel deeply familiar, while everyday life can be downright mythic. He is adept at turning limitations in creative opportunities, with extensive experience in found-space and immersive theatre. Jordan is also adept at collaborating with writers, and has directed world premieres by internationally recognized playwrights including Caridad Svich and Joe Calarco.

 

In addition to directing, Jordan is a Helen Hayes award-winning producer, having founded 4615 Theatre Company, where he served as Artistic Director for six years. He also frequently composes original music for productions, both with other directors and for his own shows.
